The mission of the Ombudsman is to promote good
conduct and fair decision-making in the interests of the
NSW community. This mission applies to all agencies
and persons within jurisdiction, whether public or
private. The Ombudsman’s Corporate Plan lists the
following goals:to assist agencies to remedy deficiencies
and improve their service delivery; to be a cohesive and
effective organisation; to be accessible and responsive;
to be a leader in standards of service.
